RADCHEM produces the REKKER serie of Irradiator systems. The  different type of irradiators has been developed in late 2005 by REKKER (Hungary) to meet the customers’s requirements for fast, high accuracy equipment for metrology application.   There are several models of gamma irradiators, each used for metrology applications and available in a variety of source configurations.

The REKKER MOBILE unit is a mobile equipment generating collimated photon beam for dosimetry measurement. The collimated photon radiation beam is appropriate to calibrate different types of installed dosimeters. The direction of the collimated beam is adjustable.

The equipment contains three pieces of Cs-137 sealed sources with different activity (total maximum activity is 5 GBq). Maximum Source-detector’s distance is 5.5 m (accuracy of distance measurement is 0.1 mm).
